Next Pioneers Nebraska is in partnership with the Nebraska Tech Collaborative, an Aksarben Workforce Initiative. The Project is focused on bringing together a select group of movers, makers, builders and shakers who are trailblazing paths that transform our golden plains and build new foundations for generations to come.

Ag-Venture Company Event

The Ag-Venture team was able to bring in our portfolio company founders and investors to meet and interact on a number of different topics related to ag-tech, building businesses and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for agriculture, agtech and the start-up community across the Midwest. We are fortunate to have such a strong foundation of investors and founders that are engaged and eager to help achieve the overall all goal of making the Midwest the Global Ag-Tech hub!

MITA World Trade Conference

2022 AgTech Connect

Last week in Lincoln, the first annual Nebraska AgTech Connect took place and had over 150 individuals attend. Ben Williamson, Managing Director of Burlington Capital Ag-Venture, moderated both the “Ag Sustainability” and “Investing in AgTech” panels.

Ag-Innovation Challenge

Grain Weevil, Marble Technologies, and Birds Eye Robotics were selected as 3 of the 4 finalists in the American Farm Bureau Federation Ag Innovation Challenge.  

In the end, Grain weevil was the ultimate winner of the Challenge, while Birds Eye Robotics finished as Runner-Up.
